A Weld County worker is suing JBS USA Food Co. over its handling of a 401(k) savings plan (the Guaranteed Interest Fund by Empower), which allegedly underperformed industry benchmarks and cost thousands in retirement savings.
Jerome Ziegler claims the firm's Investment Committee failed to monitor the plan properly.
🏛️ Government
County commissioners approved a $1.67B wind and solar project in Chalk Bluffs, north Weld County, to produce 79 turbines and solar panels over 2,200 acres.
The project is expected to generate 805 MW of electricity for 600,000 homes.
