Today, the 142nd Larimer County Fair begins at The Ranch with free admission, free parking and activities including food, livestock shows, live entertainment and carnival rides that run until midnight.
Gates open at 4 p.m. and a fireworks show is expected around 9 p.m.

Weld County reopened Road 29 after four and a half months of construction.
The county rebuilt the four-mile stretch between Weld Road 74 and Colo. 14 using full-depth reclamation—this method mixed cement into the road base to help prevent moisture damage.
