Weld RE-4 School District will hold a ribbon cutting for its new 26,000-foot Career and Technical Education Center on Sept. 17 (4:30 to 6 p.m.). The center has a welding shop with an attached classroom, an agriculture science lab, a greenhouse and a diesel mechanic shop and will open next month (funded by a $271 million bond package approved in November 2022).
